A note from the designer:- It all began back in July 2000 when I got married. After countless trips to various stores selling wedding stationery, I was disappointed to find they lacked style and originality. Refusing to compromise, I designed my own.

The Secret Garden was founded in February 2004, shortly after the birth of my second child. One of the midwives fell in love with my birth announcement cards - she subsequently gave my details to Button Nose, a Designer Babywear shop in Congleton, Cheshire and my first commission of 100 cards quickly followed.

I then began selling greetings cards at a few local florists and started receiving orders for Party Invitations, Birth Announcements, Christening and Wedding Stationery.

I am delighted that what started as a hobby is now a full time, all consuming occupation. From designing for friends and relatives of friends, my business has expanded throughout the UK, with satisfied customers recommending my services to their friends and colleagues.

I am fast becoming known for my friendly, informal and flexible approach and the reaction to my designs has been fabulous. I am aware how exciting yet daunting the whole process of organising a wedding can be and am sure the enclosed testimonials from satisfied customers will provide the reassurance so essential to making your day as special as mine.
